Keep kids hydrated during extreme heat

If your kids are going to be outdoors during this heat wave, especially if they are exercising, they need to keep hydrated.  Dr. Troy Smurawah says that starts with drinking at least 32 ounces of fluid before they go out, drinking up to 6 ounces while they are exercising and then drink more when they get back inside.

He recommends low sugar electrolyte drinks and water.
