Lake Travis continues to climb

Lake Travis

The highest Lake Travis has every been was durring the Christmas floods of 1991, topping out around 710 feet.  Today, the lake is expected to hit the 700 foot mark. Four floodgates on Mansfield Dam remain open, but the outflow of the dam can’t match the inflow of flood waters from the Hill Country yet.
