Your Austin property could get rezoned without notice and without a way for you to fight it in the newest land development code rewrite.
That’s what Fred Lewis of Community Not Commodity says. Lewis says the city is foregoing the normal notification and protests to ram this thing down Austin’s collective throat by the end of the year.
There is a public hearing coming up Saturday with the Planning Commission as well as a Community Not Commodity rally at City Hall.
