A Lehman High School substitute teacher has been arrested and charged for an alleged attack on a student on Friday. Multiple cell phone videos have surfaced showing that incident involving Tiffani Lankford and a 16-year-old female student in which Lankford appears to rain blows down on the girl before later kicking her in the head.

A second video appears to show the student hitting the teacher prior to the teacher’s attack.
According to a family attorney, the girl suffered a brain injury and mental trauma from the incident.
Lankford was charged with aggravated assault. She has also been fired by the Hays Consolidated Independent School District and was reported to the Texas Education Agency.
After completing orientation on August 30, 2019. Lankford began teaching as a substitute in mid-September.
