Libraries have launched a petition drive to encourage publisher Macmillen to not go through with a plan to limit e-books to public libraries. Starting in November, Macmillen will only make one e-book available for new titles for the first eight weeks of release, no matter how large a library system is.
Cecilia Barham with the Austin Based Texas Library Association says you can find out more about the issue at ebooksforall.org.
