The trucker industry is having a hard time filling positions. Some analysts say it’s only going to get worse, and some blame the shortage on pay. John Esparza with the Texas Trucking Association says that’s not the case. He says it’s not uncommon for some truck drivers to make over six figures when they have four to five years experience. The industry says the shortage could more than double over the next decade.
