The City of Georgetown is trying out a month-long pilot program with the rideshare firm Lyft. Georgetown Public Works Director Octavio Garza says they started a bus system last year and this was something they talked about doing then.
Garza says residents with smartphones and the Lyft app can enter the code GTOWNTX18 and get up to ten dollars off of ten rides after they pay the first two dollars.
