Officially this year, Georgetown is the 7th-fastest growing city in the nation, according to City Manager David Morgan
From 2010-2018, the City of Georgetown saw more than 56{2db634631ef8bd3f096060bc7daa4fc6677d16e616113d8c02bec6b420e3105c} growth. Along with that, calls for service have spiked for first responders. The city has begun early budget talks, and that growth will be one of the biggest factors moving forward.
The city said it plans to make significant infrastructure investments, as well as the addition of as many as a dozen new police officers.
The population within the city limits has grown by more than 56-percent since 2010.
