Man who rode a stand-up scooter drunk and crashed is charged with DWI

Police records state the manager of Namami Sushi Bar on Brodie Lane called Police when 30-year-old Travis Walker showed up with bloody elbows. He had crashed his gas powered red scooter and tried to ride off. He was offered a ride home in a taxi but refused and nearly crashed into the taxi as he left.

Police and EMS followed Walker down Davis Lane until he fell off again. He was wearing only pants with a rope belt. He failed a field sobriety test and was being held in Travis County Jail. Walker has two prior DWI convictions in Harris County.
