The Pflugerville City Council on Wednesday approved a resolution requiring face masks be worn inside all city-owned facilities. This includes City Hall and City Council Chambers, the Recreation Center, Library, Justice Center, Animal Welfare Services, Planning & Development Services and other City offices.
Under this latest action, an individual over the age of six is required to wear a face covering while present on or in City and County property “unless expressly exempted in Section 2 or by a City or County policy applicable to the premises or facility.”
The mandate does not extend to outdoor areas on city property.
