Austin could see a rough draft of the land use code rewrite early this fall. Mayor Steve Adler says he hopes to see the draft clearly address the city’s housing shortage.
Adler also hopes to see the draft show homeowners can do more to better aid in the city’s long-term affordability goals through additional dwelling units.
