Memphis Double Murder Suspect Busted in Cedar Park

Members of the U.S. Marshals-led Lone Star Fugitive Task Force have arrested a man sought on charges for murder and criminal attempt, which was obtained out of Shelby County, Tennessee on Mar. 3.

Devin Trust, 21, of Memphis was a suspect wanted for a homicide in Memphis that occurred in December of 2023. In total, four victims were hit by gunfire. Two of the victims died from their injuries.

One of the victims reportedly fired off round in retaliation, striking Trust in multiple areas on his body, including the genitals, leg, and stomach.

On March 7, the Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force in the Western District of Tennessee requested assistance from the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force in the Austin Division to locate and apprehend Trust, who was believed to be hiding in the Austin area.

Members of the task force continued their investigation and later observed Trust in the 3100 block of Colonial Parkway in Cedar Park, where he was surrounded by officers at a residence and was taken into custody.

Trust was transported and booked into the Travis County Jail where he will await further judicial proceedings and extradition.
