Mobility Authority considers lower toll for short stretch of 183-A

The mobility authority is looking at lowering the toll between 1431 and Brushy Creek on 183A.  CTRMA’s Justin Word says one plan would split the frontage road into two lanes, allowing drivers who only need to drive that 3/4-mile stretch to pay a reduced toll without impacting the mobility authority’s bottom line.

Drivers in the other lane would continue on to 183A and pay the full toll under Park Street.
