Georgetown Water customers have to make adjustments to their sprinkler systems and irrigation to get into compliance with newly enacted watering restrictions. Assistant City Manager Jim Briggs says it’s been five years since they’ve had to do this.
The restrictions mean customers can only irrigate two days a week based on the last digit of their address with no watering on Mondays, as per a decade old policy.
