New travel lanes on SH-130 are about to open up. TxDOT’s Diann Hodges says starting Monday morning at 5 am a third northbound travel lane is opening up between Cameron Road and US 290 East, with a new third southbound lane opening next week.
Hodges says this is the first segment of a widening project for SH-130 to be completed. A widening project for SH-130 between 290 and SH-45 will wrap up in late 2020.
