The City of Austin’s Ethics Review Commission found that the No on Prop J political action Committee broke city ethics codes by not filing who funded almost half of its campaign in a timely matter.
Local Lawyer Fred Lewis took the PAC to task and while the result was in his favor, he says the PAC was given a slap on the wrist. Prop J would have given Austinites the final say on the now-defunct Code Next Land use code.
