The Austin School District Board is greeting by a number of people who was them to reverse course on closing four elementary schools. At the very least members of the public testified they want the board to consider an equity report that was critical of the plan to close Pease, Metz, Simms and Brooke elementary schools. A couple of board members said after the testimony that they favor the board considering the equity report, but none suggested reopening the vote to close the schools at this point.
