A change dot org petition to have Austin rescind its homeless ordinances surpasses twenty thousand signatures. That’s according to Travis County GOP Chair Matt Makowiak who says the Austin policy is not compassionate to the homeless or to the citizens.
Makowiak hopes Council will reconsider its position and do better by the homeless and taxpayers.
