A petition on Change.org calling for the return of the show ‘Live PD’ to Central Texas is picking up speed. More than 3800 people have signed the petition, which asks Williamson County to rethink the decision made this summer to cancel its contract with the show. Sheriff Robert Chody has never budged from his position that the show promotes transparency.
The controversy within the sheriff’s office, as well as concerns from the D-A all, factored into the decision to cancel.
