As of Monday, the City of Pflugerville will ease restrictions on food trucks, allowing them to operate anywhere in the city. Food trucks have only been allowed to operate with temporary permits at certain events, and people like bakery owner Patricia Bedford say that has been depriving Pflugerville businesses of much-needed revenue and tourism. As part of this pilot program, which will run through the end of the year, permitting fees for food trucks will also be waived.
