The Cedar Park Police Department continues to investigate a call this week regarding suspicious materials inside of a home on Parksville Way.
City officials said police, working alongside the ATF and Austin Bomb Squad, were able to safely remove the objects from the house Wednesday night, and residents who were evacuated (roughly 4 homes) were allowed back home.
Some of the items that were removed from the home include:
- 29 Firearms
- Ammunition
- Various materials/chemical agents typically used to make explosives
According to Cedar Park Police Chief Mike Harmon, ATF will be sending some of the items/materials off to be tested.
Local law enforcement officials are working with the ATF to determine what charges may be filed.
