Police Seek San Antonio Fugitive Thought To Be in Austin

Police and the Capital Area Crime Stoppers are searching for a woman wanted in connection to a murder in San Antonio.

According to reports, police and EMS were dispatched to a Sonic Drive-In located at 5510 Babcock Rd. for a shooting.  When police arrived, they found the manager, Daniel Lacy Shrewsbury, shot in the chest and unresponsive. Shrewsbury was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Police believe Daniel was shot by Adiah Namir Roberson, a customer who reportedly created a disturbance over counterfeit money. She also allegedly stole money from an employee, prompting Daniel to take a photo of her license plate.

Later, police say Roberson returned with another man, Joshua Joseph, who reportetdly made threats toward Daniel, and it was at that moment police allege Adiah exited the vehicle and shot Shrewsbury.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Roberson. San Antonio police on Tuesday said they believe Roberson is in Austin.

She is wanted for both murder and forgery.
