The majority of Texans surveyed in a recent UT/Texas Tribune poll say they’re not very happy with the overall state of public schools.  That includes the quality of K-12 education and their experience with teachers in the classroom.

University of Texas pollster Daron Shaw says in their next poll, he plans to take a much closer look at individual school districts, like Eanes and AISD.  He says people appear to be more likely to see major flaws the farther away they are from their own personal experience.
