In light of the recent and ongoing spike of corona virus infections, the Round Rock City Council announce they are now requiring people aged 10 and older to wear a facemask or covering in public places where staying 6-feet away from others is not possible.
The ordinance goes into effect at 11:59 p.m. tonight, and continues through 11:59 p.m. Aug. 28, 2020.
A first time violation of the ordinance will result in a verbal or written warning. Ensuing violations are punishable by fines starting at $200 and escalating up to $1,000.
