No toxins from algae have been found in the water of Lady Bird Lake, but preliminary test results show there are some neurotoxins in some of the algae found near Red Bud Isle.
Assistant Director of Watershed Protection Sara Hartley says dog owners should continue to keep their pets out of the lake until further notice. Several dogs died this week after swimming in the lake.
