Death Row Inmate Rodney reed is set to be executed Nov. 20th, but Supporters rallying at the Governor’s mansion to hope to stop that.
Reed has been behind bars since 1996 for the Bastrop County murder of Stacey Stites and, Wana Akpan Reed, his sister in law says, every night since has been hard on the family. Recently though more evidence and support has been pouring in hoping the Governor will free Reed.
Defense Attorneys say the evidence coming out continues to point the finger at Stacy Stites’ then Fiance, Jimmy Finel as the true suspect.
