Here in the Austin-area, four districts — Lake Travis, Round Rock, Eanes, and Dripping Springs — all received an A. The Austin school district, along with Georgetown and Pflugerville received a B. So did Leander, which otherwise would’ve gotten an A but because one school – Camacho Elementary – received an “improvement required” the district grade dropped to an 89.
The TEA’s new system doesn’t allow any district to get an A if any school gets an improvement required rating. San MArcos, Bastrop, Lockhart, and Hays all received a C, and while there were no Fs given, Del Valle and Manor both got a D.
