Texas Constitutional carry bill hits senate wall

The State House bill that would let Texans carry a handgun without a license appears to have died in the Texas Senate.

LT. Governor Dan Patrick says the bill just doesn’t have enough support to bring it up for a vote.

But for  gun carry advocates, there could be some hope as the Lt. Gov. pledges to work with law enforcement officials to find some sort of compromise on permitless carry.
