Gerrymandering, or politically re-drawn boundaries are disenfranchising voters according to Democrat Texas Attorney General candidate Justin Nelson. His bi-partisan pub crawl on five blocks of 6th Street in downtown Austin tonight goes through Congressional Districts 35, 25 and 21. Nelson says it’s time to end gerrymandering and its emphasis on party primaries.
The three districts are Lloyd Doggett’s District 35, Roger Williams’ District 25 and Lamar Smith’s District 21. None of those Congressmen are expected to attend.
