Austin’s Film industry is keeping a close eye on the legislature as Film incentives are again on the line. The Austin Film Commission’s director Brian Gannon said with the city a kind of industry hub, he’s seen the direct benefits of having a production in the area.
Gannon also said money solves problems in the film industry and helps keep local casts and crews working local. Others in the industry say Texas is losing that talent to other states with better incentive programs.
