State lawmakers on Wednesday are expected to discuss House Bill 25, which aims to allow for the import of cheaper prescription drugs from Canada.
HB 25 has been working its way through the legislature since February, and appears to have quite a bit of support from both sides of the aisle.
A press conference is planned for 8:45 a.m. from the Texas Capitol. Those attending will include State Representatives James Talarico, James Frank, Brian Harrison, and Charles Perry.
