Texas has led the nation in the number of children without health insurance for years, but those numbers had been going down, until now. A new Georgetown University report shows the number if kids without health insurance has increased by 83,000. Joan Alkar helped write the report and said there are some national factors for that.
But she said that it hurts that Texas leads the nation in the number of uninsured adults as well.
