Between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m. on weekdays, Mopac’s toll lanes are moving an average of eight miles per hour faster northbound, and 17 miles per hour faster southbound. CTRMA’s Tracie Brown says that cuts down your northbound commute by 1.3-minutes and your southbound commute by 6.1-minutes.
Between 5:30 and 6:00 p.m. the time savings are much larger. Northbound, the tolls cut your travel by 11.2-minutes, and southbound it’s 14-minutes.
