A task force led by the U.S. Marshals on Wednesday arrested Fabian Toribio-Martinez, 34, in the 1500 block of E. Palm Valley in Round Rock. Toribio-Martinez had been sought on charges for super aggravated sexual assault of a child and possession of a controlled substance.
The Texas Department of Public Safety added Toribio–Martinez to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Criminal Immigrant list on June 20.
Toribio-Martinez was sought by the Austin Police Department for super aggravated sexual assault of a child, and by the Travis County Sheriff’s Department for dangerous drugs.
According to the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Toribio-Martinez is a Mexican national who was arrested and convicted in 2018 and removed from the United States.
The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force in the Austin Division continued the fugitive investigation and learned Toribio-Martinez was known to frequent the Round Rock area and was considered armed and dangerous.
Toribio-Martinez was arrested at an apartment complex where he attempted to conceal himself from authorities under a couch.
Toribio-Martinez was transported and booked into the Williamson County Jail where he will await further judicial proceedings.
