The Travis County DA Margaret Moore said her office is investigating ten cases involving Austin police officers and last weekend’s George Floyd Protests.
In a statement she said, “As soon as we learned of the allegations arising out of the recent protests, we requested and were granted access to the investigations currently being conducted by the Special Investigations Unit of the Austin Police Department.”
She added her office has assigned prosecutors and they are reviewing the status of the investigations daily.
