Dozens of angry tenants at the Rosemont at Oak Valley apartments finally get a chance to speak with Travis County officials after they were given 30 days to move out due to storm damage.
County Commissioners halted the evictions this week and Patrick Howard with the Housing Authority says tenants will be given places to stay while repairs continue. “We will be relocating those who’ve not identified places to relocate on their own, to a temporary location.”
Howard says the county will pay to house affected residents in hotel-style lodging for up to 90 days.
