A student reported that while walking in the area a person got his attention while another person ripped off his shorts. The student told police that a third person then hit him in the head with a gun. The suspects are described as Hispanic males who left the scene in a white truck. This all happened around 3:15 this morning and UTPD is asking anyone who may have seen this incident or may have seen the suspects to call 9-1-1.
4. TEXAS ATTORNEY GENERAL KEN PAXTON IS JOINING A BIPARTISAN COALITION OF 47 STATE ATTORNEYS GENERAL IN CALLING ON FACEBOOK, CRAIGSLIST, AND EBAY TO TAKE PROACTIVE MEASURES AGAINST ALCOHOL SALES ON THEIR PLATFORMS
Paxton says such sales frequently violate state laws. In a letter to those platforms, Paxton is urging that they review the current content posted on their website involving alcohol products and that they develop and deploy programming to block and prevent users from violating state law by posting content for the sale and distribution of alcohol products.
