The Texas Department of Transportation continues to get the word out about the dangers and impacts of drunk driving through its “Drive Sober. No Regrets.” campaign. According to TxDOT, the campaign aims to highlight the dangers of impaired driving by sharing stories from Texans who have experienced the consequences firsthand.
Local college students are being invited into downtown Austin on Thursday to see and share firsthand stories from drunk driving offenders, and also survivors to better understand the inherent risks of drinking and driving.
The campaign’s traveling video exhibit will be on display at 6th Street and Trinity Street from 9:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m. Thursday night.
