5. APD HITS THE STREETS AMID HOMELESS ORDINANCE CHANGES

Austin police officers have been handing out fliers to the homeless detailing some of the new changes that have taken effect…Before police can take any enforcement actions, the city first wants the homeless to have enough time to study and learn the new rules.  They also must be given enough time to access services or shelters.
