Update: Austin Water says it was a water main brake and not a sinkhole in Southwest Austin that had police officers closing off certain areas. APD has shutdown Old Beecaves Rd, Travis Cook Rd, and the whole of the Thomas Springs area. Austin water work crews are on the scene, you’re asked to avoid the area as work continues.
