Update:
Someone was caught trespassing inside Mansfield Dam’s tunnels Tuesday Morning by dam staffers. That sparked a call for assistance by the Lower Colorado River Authority to Austin Police officers and Travis County Sheriff’s Deputies. Officials say the dam is secure but no suspect was found when law enforcement conducted a thorough search. LCRA intends to fully investigate what the person was doing in the dam and just how they got there as well.
