The State of Texas is expected to receive 2.5 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine this week, more than a million of which will be first-time doses heading straight for various vaccination hubs.  The state will spread out doses from Pfizer and Moderna, as well as the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Travis County is receiving more than 50,000 doses for the week, including 13,000 for Austin Public Health.  1000 of those doses will be from Johnson & Johnson.  Dell Seton Medical Center will once again receive 11,700 doses.  There will also be quite a few private providers distributing doses this week, including 28 Walgreen’s locations around Austin,

The lion’s share of doses arriving in Williamson County this week will go to Curative Medical Associates, which has been been operating the mass vaccination site at Dell Diamond.  In total, around 22,000 doses are going to Williamson County.

13,000 doses are headed to Hays County, 2200 doses to Bastrop County, and 200 doses to Caldwell County.
