Austin’s streets could see some more camera crews as officials are working out a deal with Eye Productions to bring the Walker Texas Ranger reboot to the state capital. Documents show, the production could bring a much needed influx of work and funds to the local entertainment industry and Austin’s Economic Development Department agrees. The Production says it could bring in more than $17-million worth of wages for area workers.
Austin City Council could rule on the agreement in their next regular session October 15th.
