The City of Austin is warning pet owners to keep their pets out of Lady Bird Lake until further notice. There is the possibility that a specific algae that can be harmful to animals is in the lake and that could make your pets sick if they go for a swim or drink any of the lake water. The city and LCRA is doing more testing over the next two to four days.
