The San Marcos Municipal Court will offer discounted fees for eligible cases before starting concentrated warrant enforcement Sept. 25.
Defendants with outstanding cases with the court are urged to contact the San Marcos Municipal Court immediately to avoid arrest. Defendants who pay a case in warrant status in full will be eligible to get the $50 dollar warrant fee waived and, if the case is in collections a, reduction in that fee of $15.
The San Marcos Municipal Court of Record has a warrant search posted on its website along with a list of people who have unresolved cases needing immediate attention. To view lists visitwww.sanmarcostx.gov/court
The Law Firm of Perdue, Brandon, Fielder, Collins & Mott LLP has been contracted with to assist with collections. All law firm contacts will direct defendants to the court for payments—at no point will a defendant be asked to pay over the phone.
