The town of West dedicates a memorial to those who died in the massive fertilizer plant explosion there in April of 2013. Mayor Tommy Muska says a lot of progress has been made since then. That includes the reconstruction of the entire part of West that was destroyed by the explosion, including a new high school building.
15 people died in the explosion.
