K9 officers in Williamson County will be safer on the streets. Williamson County Sheriff Robert Chody has made his K9s somewhat Internet famous through numerous social media posts, and now they’ve all been outfitted with body armor thanks to a donation from the nonprofit ‘Vested Interest in K9s Inc.’ Each vest is worth as much as $2300 and is not only bulletproof, but also stab proof. Vested Interest has donated nearly $6-million worth of K9 vests across the nation.
