In what is being called “unprecedented” for the City of Cedar Park, the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization on Monday approved major funding to improve the 183A toll.
Assistant City Manager Sam Roberts says it’s still too early to know for sure when construction may begin, but he says a preliminary timeline shows 2021 or 2022. Mayor Corbin Van Arsdale says the frontage roads will help unite eastern and western portions of Cedar Park, which have been geographically divided for many years.
