Commissioners approved their new $1.09 billion dollar budget which includes an average increase of $32 a year for the average homeowner.
The county’s expanded budget includes over six million towards replacing the aging voting system and $2.4 million for inmate services at the Sheriff’s Office. Nearly two million is set aside for indigent attorney fees.
