Austin Community College District Police gave the the all-clear for the college’s Round Rock and South Austin campuses on Thursday afternoon following a bomb threat at both locations. Officers searched all campus buildings, and no devices were found.
Both campuses were evacuated at approximately 2:20 p.m. Thursday, July 7, after ACC police received reports of a bomb threat at each location.
South Austin Campus resumed normal operations at approximately 3:50 p.m. after officers completed their search. The Round Rock Campus search was completed at approximately 4:25 p.m. but it remained closed for the rest of the day.
Both campuses have reopened for normal operations on Friday.
